A proud tradition of compassionate nonprofit service
Montcordia has a rich history and wealth of expertise in compassionate care.
Our history is intertwined with the legacy of Service Coordination, Inc. (SCI), a pioneering initiative established by The Arc of Frederick County in 1982.
In 2006, experiencing significant growth, SCI transitioned into an independent nonprofit organization, maintaining an unwavering commitment to providing top-tier conflict free case management services within communities.
Supporting the diverse needs of our community.
Established initially to support individuals with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities, SCI has expanded to support nearly 16,000 individuals with disabilities, medically complex needs, older adults, and others across Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Northern Virginia.
From this legacy, Montcordia emerged, dedicated to providing highly customized, comprehensive care for seniors, a growing need within communities deserving of focused support.
Supporting seniors in aging with grace and dignity.
With a vision of connecting aging adults with trained Care Partners for long-term and holistic care, Montcordia operates as a private pay, concierge-level senior services program, providing support at home with comfort, style, and pride.
Montcordia is a testament to the evolution of compassionate care, building upon SCI's commitment to tailored support services coordination.
Looking ahead, Montcordia remains devoted to delivering exceptional concierge companionship and care management, supporting seniors in aging with grace and dignity.
